Dr. Gary Parker, DPT
Dr. Gary Parker has combined his fitness center and private practice offering the community and surrounding area 24/7 access to his services and knowledge. In addition he has opened and operated 7 outpatient physical therapy practices throughout a 100 mile radius and continues to own and operate 4 remaining offices.
He has successfully treated more than 10,000 patients throughout his career. and helps individuals with rehabilitation needs as well as weight loss and body composition changes enabling patients to lead a more healthy and longer life.
Dr. Parker holds a board certification with Metagenics as a nutritional counselor and has a board certification in wound care. He is a specialist in athletic rehabilitation and studied with the world famous Michael Boyle, ATC in Boston, then implementing the techniques he learned into his athletic rehabilitation program at his own practices.
Mark Viviano, PTA
Mark Viviano is the Physical Therapist Assistant for Whitney Point Physical Therapy. Mark received an Associate in Applied Science, Physical Therapy Assistant degree from SUNY Broome Community College in 2017. He is responsible for working along side patients during their rehabilitation processes including using modalities to decrease pain, providing therapeutic exercise, and working manually with patients to promote proper movement patterns. Mark has a special interest in strength and conditioning. Mark strives to promote healthy habits to aid his patients in a seamless rehabilitation process.
Micki Parker, District Manager
Micki Parker graduated from High School in Homer, NY 1986 and began a family shortly after. She raised a family of 7 children before she began her career as a fitness instructor and district manager for That PT Group which includes 4 locations throughout Chenango, Broome, and Delaware county’s. She is also an owner in Greene Community Fitness Center, and is the primary fitness instructor and director of operations guiding memberships, weight loss programs, and all of our fitness instructors. She in is as certified fitness instructor and holds licenses in Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba kids & Zumba Kids Jr, Strong By Zumba and Pound. Micki also holds a board cortication as a Lifestyle Educator through Metagenics (a supplement company) for FirstLine Therapy which is a weight loss and lifestyle change program offered in our offices as well as Greene Community Fitness Center. She is the face of our organization.
Jolynn Wlasiuk
Jolynn Wlasiuk is part of our office staff here in the Whitney Point Physical Therapy Office. She graduated from Bainbridge-Guildfor High School is 2015. She continued her education at SUNY Oneonta in December 2018, and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. Prior to joining the Whitney Point Physical Therapy Team, Jolynn taught at two local preschools. Jolynn joined our PT team in March and is thrilled to continue working in the Whitney Point community!
